Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Online, which included the work Marine by Raymond Guerrier. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,125.00 (€ 982.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Raymond Guerrier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fish And Bottles in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 6,600.00 (€ 5,437.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marine von Raymond Guerrier zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.125,00 (€ 982,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raymond Guerrier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fish And Bottles im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.600,00 (€ 5.437,02).
