In June 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Le Phare Blanc by Raymond Guerrier. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,487.00 49% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raymond Guerrier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fish And Bottles, which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 6,600.00 (€ 5,437.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Phare Blanc von Raymond Guerrier zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.487,00 und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Raymond Guerrier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fish And Bottles beobachtet, die im März 2006 für USD 6.600,00 (€ 5.437,02) versteigert wurde.
