The work Los danzantes de Zapopan by Raúl Anguiano was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2015. The result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 45,479.35) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raúl Anguiano - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La espina, which sold at auction in May 2005 for USD 156,000.00 (€ 126,326.02).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Los danzantes de Zapopan von Raúl Anguiano wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 45.479,35) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Raúl Anguiano mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La espina beobachtet, die im Mai 2005 für USD 156.000,00 (€ 126.326,02) versteigert wurde.
