Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work El Agua by Raúl Anguiano for USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,374.25). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Raúl Anguiano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La espina in May 2005 with an auction result of USD 156,000.00 (€ 126,326.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit El Agua von Raúl Anguiano für USD 25.000,00 (€ 18.374,25) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raúl Anguiano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La espina im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.000,00 (€ 126.326,02).
