It achieved a price of USD 65,000.00 (€ 54,631.03), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raúl Anguiano - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La espina, which sold at auction in May 2005 for USD 156,000.00 (€ 126,326.02).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 65.000,00 (€ 54.631,03) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Für andere Arbeiten von Raúl Anguiano mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La espina beobachtet, die im Mai 2005 für USD 156.000,00 (€ 126.326,02) versteigert wurde.
