Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Los novios by Raúl Anguiano was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 31,517.90) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Raúl Anguiano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La espina in May 2005 with an auction result of USD 156,000.00 (€ 126,326.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Los novios von Raúl Anguiano kam im November 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 31.517,90) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raúl Anguiano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La espina im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.000,00 (€ 126.326,02).
