Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,602.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Raphael Lamar West have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Honeoye Lake, Ontario County, New York State in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,626.78).
