Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Raphael Adjetey Adjei Mayne was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in April last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,056.00 (€ 8,414.03), 18% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raphael Adjetey Adjei Mayne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bestander, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 35,280.00 (€ 31,803.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Raphael Adjetey Adjei Mayne wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.056,00 (€ 8.414,03) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Raphael Adjetey Adjei Mayne mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bestander beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 35.280,00 (€ 31.803,84) versteigert wurde.
