The work A still life with boxes, a bottle and an apple by Raoul Hynckes was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2011. The result of EUR 5,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Raoul Hynckes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A still life with apples and a lemon in a bowl in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 42,000.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit A still life with boxes, a bottle and an apple von Raoul Hynckes kam im März 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raoul Hynckes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A still life with apples and a lemon in a bowl im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.000,00.
