Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Dunes) by Raoul Hausmann was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in April last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 968.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Hausmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hannah Höch in December 2004 with an auction result of EUR 24,570.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Dunes) von Raoul Hausmann kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.020,00 (€ 968,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Hausmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hannah Höch im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.570,00.
