Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Abstraction, circa 1920 by Raoul Hausmann for GBP 937.50 (€ 1,063.61). This price was achieved in the auction Avant-Garde: Photographs from the Shalom Shpilman Collection at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Hausmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hannah Höch in December 2004 with an auction result of EUR 24,570.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Abstraction, circa 1920 von Raoul Hausmann für GBP 937,50 (€ 1.063,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Avant-Garde: Photographs from the Shalom Shpilman Collection bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Hausmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hannah Höch im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.570,00.
