Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,708.42) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rankin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Suspended Kate In Colour, 1999, which sold at auction in April 2017 for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 41,563.10).
