Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The model boat unframed by Ralph Todd was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in March last year. It achieved a price of GBP 2,422.50 (€ 2,872.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21%. Admittedly, works by Ralph Todd have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An entanglement in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 14,100.00 (€ 22,350.24).

Die Arbeit The model boat unframed von Ralph Todd wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.422,50 (€ 2.872,15) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 21%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ralph Todd auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An entanglement im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.100,00 (€ 22.350,24).
