The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,367.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ralph Cahoon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Luck of the Sailfish Club in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 96,000.00 (€ 73,857.52).
