The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,305.31), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ralph Cahoon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Luck of the Sailfish Club, which sold at auction in January 2007 for USD 96,000.00 (€ 73,857.52).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.305,31) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ralph Cahoon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Luck of the Sailfish Club beobachtet, die im Januar 2007 für USD 96.000,00 (€ 73.857,52) versteigert wurde.
