Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Teepee At Sunset by Ralph Albert Blakelock for USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,216.99). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ralph Albert Blakelock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stilly Night in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 193,287.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Teepee At Sunset von Ralph Albert Blakelock für USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.216,99) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00.
