In April 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Forest With Waterfall And Fallen Tree by Ralph Albert Blakelock. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,051.13), 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ralph Albert Blakelock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stilly Night in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 193,287.25).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ralph Albert Blakelock erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stilly Night im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 193.287,25).
