This artwork by Raffi Lavie achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Tel Aviv in April 2008. In the 19th & 20th Century Art at the Hilton Hotel auction, the work without title sold for USD 13,750.00 (€ 8,832.22) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Raffi Lavie; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in April 2007 with the realized price of USD 22,800.00 (€ 16,691.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 96 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Raffi Lavie erzielte im April 2008 bei Christies in Tel Aviv einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th & 20th Century Art at the Hilton Hotel wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 13.750,00 (€ 8.832,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Raffi Lavie; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 22.800,00 (€ 16.691,07).
