Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included this untitled work by Raffi Lavie. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,535.89). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raffi Lavie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2007 for USD 22,800.00 (€ 16,691.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Raffi Lavie zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.535,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Raffi Lavie mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2007 für USD 22.800,00 (€ 16.691,07) versteigert wurde.
