Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Raffi Lavie was sold in the Israeli & International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2012. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,109.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raffi Lavie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2007 for USD 22,800.00 (€ 16,691.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Raffi Lavie wurde im Dezember 2012 in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.109,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Raffi Lavie mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2007 für USD 22.800,00 (€ 16.691,07) versteigert wurde.
