Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Raffi Lavie was auctioned at Christies in Tel Aviv in April 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 16,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,029.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raffi Lavie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2007 for USD 22,800.00 (€ 16,691.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Raffi Lavie kam im April 2008 bei Christies in Tel Aviv zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 16.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.029,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Raffi Lavie mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2007 für USD 22.800,00 (€ 16.691,07) versteigert wurde.
