In March 2017 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work View towards St. Mark's Square with Santa Maria della Salute in the distance by Rafael Senet. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,902.90), 18% above the upper estimate. Other works by Rafael Senet have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 24,500.00 (€ 34,306.34) in November 2007 for the work Vista De La Plaza De San Marco Con Santa Maria Della Salute Al Fondo (View Towards St. Mark'S Square With Santa Maria Della Salute In The Distance).
