Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work On the Grand Canal, the Rialto Bridge beyond, Venice by Rafael Senet was sold in the 19th Century European & Orientalist Art auction at Christies in London in June 2015. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 14,981.12). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rafael Senet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vista De La Plaza De San Marco Con Santa Maria Della Salute Al Fondo (View Towards St. Mark'S Square With Santa Maria Della Salute In The Distance), which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 24,500.00 (€ 34,306.34).

Die Arbeit On the Grand Canal, the Rialto Bridge beyond, Venice von Rafael Senet wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 14.981,12) einen neuen Besitzer.
