In the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art auction, the work Gondolas on the Grand Canal, Santa Maria della Salute beyond sold for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,058.38) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Rafael Senet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vista De La Plaza De San Marco Con Santa Maria Della Salute Al Fondo (View Towards St. Mark'S Square With Santa Maria Della Salute In The Distance) in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,500.00 (€ 34,306.34).
