Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ahmed Ezaatar by Rachid Koraïchi was sold in the Hurouf: The Art of The Word auction at Sothebys in Doha in December 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 182,500.00 (€ 137,538.62) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rachid Koraïchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scrutateur De L’Arrière Passion (Scrutineer Of The Hidden Passion), which sold at auction in April 2013 for USD 665,000.00 (€ 505,012.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ahmed Ezaatar von Rachid Koraïchi wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Hurouf: The Art of The Word bei Sothebys in Doha versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 137.538,62) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Rachid Koraïchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scrutateur De L’Arrière Passion (Scrutineer Of The Hidden Passion) beobachtet, die im April 2013 für USD 665.000,00 (€ 505.012,15) versteigert wurde.
