Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Christies in London held the auction Modern | British & Irish Art, which included the work Two Patterned Mugs by Rachel Nicholson. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,908.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rachel Nicholson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition on Black and Green with Two Cups, which sold at auction in September last year for GBP 5,355.00 (€ 6,094.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern | British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Patterned Mugs von Rachel Nicholson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.908,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rachel Nicholson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition on Black and Green with Two Cups beobachtet, die im September letzten Jahres für GBP 5.355,00 (€ 6.094,51) versteigert wurde.
