In April 2019 Christies in London held the auction Modern | British & Irish Art, which included the work Still Life with Green and Blue by Rachel Nicholson. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,362.33), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Rachel Nicholson have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 5,355.00 (€ 6,094.51) in September last year for the work Composition on Black and Green with Two Cups.
