Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Green and Brown by Rachel Nicholson was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2019. The price achieved of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,181.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rachel Nicholson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition on Black and Green with Two Cups, which sold at auction in September last year for GBP 5,355.00 (€ 6,094.51).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.181,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rachel Nicholson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition on Black and Green with Two Cups beobachtet, die im September letzten Jahres für GBP 5.355,00 (€ 6.094,51) versteigert wurde.
