Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Mammon by Rachel Howard for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,841.55). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rachel Howard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Painting, which sold at auction in February 2008 for USD 132,000.00 (€ 86,916.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mammon von Rachel Howard für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.841,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rachel Howard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Painting beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für USD 132.000,00 (€ 86.916,44) versteigert wurde.
