Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Dead Red by Rachel Howard for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,963.49). This price was achieved in the auction Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rachel Howard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Painting in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 132,000.00 (€ 86,916.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dead Red von Rachel Howard für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.963,49) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rachel Howard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Painting im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 132.000,00 (€ 86.916,44).
