This work without title by Rabindranath Tagore was sold in the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in London in October 2014. It achieved a price of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,882.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rabindranath Tagore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Couple) in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 637,500.00 (€ 550,660.79).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rabindranath Tagore wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.882,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rabindranath Tagore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Couple) im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 637.500,00 (€ 550.660,79).
