Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Rider In Night) by Rabindranath Tagore was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2018. The price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 35,240.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rabindranath Tagore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Couple) in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 637,500.00 (€ 550,660.79).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Rider In Night) von Rabindranath Tagore kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 35.240,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rabindranath Tagore erzielen.
