The work Untitled (Peacock) by Rabindranath Tagore was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2019. It achieved a price of USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,965.09), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rabindranath Tagore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Couple) in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 637,500.00 (€ 550,660.79).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Peacock) von Rabindranath Tagore kam im März 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.965,09) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rabindranath Tagore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Couple) im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 637.500,00 (€ 550.660,79).
