This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art at Sothebys in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Rabindranath Tagore have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Couple) in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 637,500.00 (€ 550,660.79).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
