In May 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Asia: New York Edition, which included the work Fissuring - The Seal of Cosmology Series by Qiu Deshu. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,568.98), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Deshu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fissuring-Landscape (Dawn Light) in October 2014 with an auction result of CNY 2,190,000.00 (€ 285,940.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: New York Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fissuring - The Seal of Cosmology Series von Qiu Deshu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.568,98) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Deshu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fissuring-Landscape (Dawn Light) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 2.190.000,00 (€ 285.940,94).
