The work Fissuring Series by Qiu Deshu was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2018. It achieved a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,782.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Deshu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fissuring-Landscape (Dawn Light) in October 2014 with an auction result of CNY 2,190,000.00 (€ 285,940.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 72 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fissuring Series von Qiu Deshu kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.782,35) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Deshu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fissuring-Landscape (Dawn Light) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 2.190.000,00 (€ 285.940,94).
