Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphic by Qiu Deshu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,878.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Deshu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fissuring-Landscape (Dawn Light) in October 2014 with an auction result of CNY 2,190,000.00 (€ 285,940.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphic von Qiu Deshu kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.878,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Deshu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fissuring-Landscape (Dawn Light) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 2.190.000,00 (€ 285.940,94).
