A top price for Qian Juntao - as previously expected
In April this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Red Lotus by Qian Juntao. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 12,000.00 (€ 12,254.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Red Lotus is the most expensive artwork by Qian Juntao that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red Lotus von Qian Juntao zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 12.000,00 (€ 12.254,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Red Lotus das teuerste Kunstwerk von Qian Juntao, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
