Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Calligraphic Couplet by Qian Juntao. The price achieved of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 3,266.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qian Juntao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Lotus, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 12,000.00 (€ 12,254.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet von Qian Juntao zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 3.266,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Qian Juntao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Lotus beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 12.000,00 (€ 12.254,35) versteigert wurde.
