Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Plum Blossoms by Qian Juntao was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2015. The auction ended at the price of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,375.38), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qian Juntao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Lotus, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 12,000.00 (€ 12,254.35).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Plum Blossoms von Qian Juntao kam im September 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.375,38) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Qian Juntao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Lotus beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 12.000,00 (€ 12.254,35) versteigert wurde.
