Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chinese Girl No. 34 by Qi Zhilong was sold in the Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 11,108.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qi Zhilong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Girl Series No.1 in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 3,847,500.00 (€ 317,082.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chinese Girl No. 34 von Qi Zhilong wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 11.108,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qi Zhilong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Girl Series No.1 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.847.500,00 (€ 317.082,64).
