Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Narcissus by Pu Tong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 52,920.00 (€ 5,861.32). Admittedly, works by Pu Tong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heart Sutra in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 239,400.00 (€ 26,629.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Narcissus von Pu Tong kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 52.920,00 (€ 5.861,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pu Tong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heart Sutra im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 239.400,00 (€ 26.629,93).
