The work Landscape, 1947 by Pu Jin was sold in the Chinese Painting20th Century & Beyond Part II auction at Bonhams in Sydney in September this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,800.00 (€ 4,535.15), 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Literary Gathering In Garden in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,875,000.00 (€ 205,431.46).

Die Arbeit Landscape, 1947 von Pu Jin wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Chinese Painting20th Century & Beyond Part II bei Bonhams in Sydney versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.800,00 (€ 4.535,15) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Literary Gathering In Garden im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.875.000,00 (€ 205.431,46).
