Auction result well in line with expectations
In August last year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale, which included the work Three Friends in Winter by Pu Jin. The price achieved of HKD 3,825.00 (€ 484.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Literary Gathering In Garden in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,875,000.00 (€ 205,431.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Friends in Winter von Pu Jin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.825,00 (€ 484,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Literary Gathering In Garden im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.875.000,00 (€ 205.431,46).
