In June last year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Dwelling in Mountains by Pu Jin. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 63,750.00 (€ 7,757.90), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Literary Gathering In Garden in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,875,000.00 (€ 205,431.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dwelling in Mountains von Pu Jin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 63.750,00 (€ 7.757,90) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Literary Gathering In Garden im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.875.000,00 (€ 205.431,46).
