Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pu Jin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Apes In The Woods sold for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 41,086.29) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pu Jin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Literary Gathering In Garden in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,875,000.00 (€ 205,431.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pu Jin erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Apes In The Woods für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 41.086,29) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pu Jin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Literary Gathering In Garden im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.875.000,00 (€ 205.431,46).
