Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Www. Maozedong.Com by Pu Jie was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Art II auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 168,000.00 (€ 15,730.01) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Pu Jie have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2007 the work Internet Time No. 9 was auctioned for USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,917.90).

Die Arbeit Www. Maozedong.Com von Pu Jie wurde im April 2007 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Art II bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 168.000,00 (€ 15.730,01) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Pu Jie konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2007 die Arbeit Internet Time No. 9 für USD 36.000,00 (€ 26.917,90) versteigert.
