In October 2010 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Property From an Important European Collection, which included the work No Need No.3 by Pu Jie. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 125,000.00 (€ 11,605.73), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pu Jie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Internet Time No. 9, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,917.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Property From an Important European Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit No Need No.3 von Pu Jie zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 11.605,73) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pu Jie mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Internet Time No. 9 beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 36.000,00 (€ 26.917,90) versteigert wurde.
