Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work I Don'T Like To Stay At School by Pu Jie was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 11,861.85). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pu Jie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Internet Time No. 9, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,917.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit I Don'T Like To Stay At School von Pu Jie kam im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 11.861,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Pu Jie mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Internet Time No. 9 beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 36.000,00 (€ 26.917,90) versteigert wurde.
