Auction result well in line with expectations
The work London Replanned: A Panorama by Albert Edward Richardson was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2013. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,195.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Albert Edward Richardson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Fantasy of Kubla Khan's Palace in September 2013 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,965.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit London Replanned: A Panorama von Albert Edward Richardson kam im September 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.195,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Edward Richardson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Fantasy of Kubla Khan's Palace im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.965,09).
